What affects
your IT costs.

Managed IT pricing depends on what we support and how you want to work with us, so we don’t publish a single price. This page explains the factors we review, what your proposal shows and how to plan IT costs ahead.

What we review

What shapes the cost
of managed IT.

Every proposal starts with the same questions. The answers decide how much support your business needs and how it is delivered.

Users and devices

The number of staff, computers, laptops, mobile devices and servers we support. Each one adds help desk requests, updates and security coverage.

Locations

How many offices you have, how often work needs someone on site and how many of your staff work remotely.

Coverage hours

Help during business hours or around the clock, and how quickly urgent issues need a response, including evenings and weekends.

Security scope

Endpoint protection, email and web protection, access controls, monitoring and security assessments, matched to the risks and requirements of your business.

Backup and recovery

What needs to be backed up, how quickly each system must be restored after a problem and how often recovery is tested.

Business applications

The practice management, accounting and other programs we support, and how much coordination your software vendors need.

Microsoft 365 and cloud

The Microsoft 365, Azure and other cloud services we manage for you, and how your software licences are handled.

Where your systems are today

Older equipment, missing documentation or settings that need to be brought to an agreed standard before ongoing support begins.

Your proposal

What your written
proposal shows.

You see what is covered and what is not before you decide.

  • The users, devices and locations covered.
  • The services included and your hours of coverage.
  • Whether IT projects, hardware, software licences and supplier work are included or quoted separately.
  • One-time work needed before ongoing support begins, if any.
  • The assumptions behind the price, so you can see what would change it.

02

Agree the right support

Together we agree coverage hours, security scope, responsibilities and the arrangement that fits.

03

Receive a written proposal

You receive the scope, assumptions and pricing for your business before any work begins.

Ways to work together

Choose the arrangement
that fits your budget.

Plan larger costs ahead with IT budgets and investment planning, and use a fixed-rate project when the work can be clearly defined.

Common questions

What clients often ask.

Why don’t you publish a price list?

Two offices with the same number of staff can need very different support, depending on their locations, coverage hours, applications and security requirements. A price based on your own environment is more useful than a general figure.

What do you need from us to prepare a quote?

The number of staff and devices, your locations, the applications you rely on, the hours you need support and any security or recovery requirements. We then review your environment with you.

Can we start with part of our IT?

Yes. You can start with a defined project, hourly service or support alongside your internal IT team, and change the arrangement as your needs change.

Are AI services included in a managed IT plan?

No. AI services are quoted separately: setup, custom development, ongoing support, software licences, AI/API usage and any supplier work are each identified in your proposal.
